Teenworks & Kids’ Kreations 2025

Studio 23’s annual “Teenworks and Kids’ Kreations” exhibition celebrates the artwork created by elementary, middle school, and high school students attending art classes throughout Bay County, and salutes the ongoing pursuit of the arts by our local students and art instructors.

Practicing and creating art helps kids and young adults develop cognitive and emotional skills, improve problem-solving abilities, and develop their capacities for noticing nuances, details, and subtleties while observing the world around them. It instills in students the ability to conceptualize and plan the steps necessary to bring a project to fruition, a skill beneficial to overall academic performance.

Discussing art helps students understand different perspectives, enhances self-awareness, and develops a language of self-expression. Art of all kinds offers a fulfilling experiential activity that can provide reprieve, accommodate different styles of learning, and promote creativity and confidence. “Teenworks & Kids’ Kreations 2025” commends these advantages by showcasing local students' artwork.
