Teenworks & Kids’ Kreations
Nurturing a creative habit has many benefits, especially for kids and young adults. According to the nonprofit arts advocacy group Americans for the Arts, students engaged in art learning have higher GPAs, standardized test scores, and college-going rates as well as lower dropout rates. Engaging in the arts can also spark creativity and innovation, unify communities, and improve individual well-being and health. It is important that we celebrate and encourage the impact that creating art can have on daily life at any age.
Teenworks & Kids’ Kreations 2023 celebrates the artwork of students attending art classes throughout Bay County with over 200 pieces of artwork on display. This exhibit is a wonderful opportunity to see the imaginative artwork and unique perspectives of those growing up in the world today, and to offer encouragement to and instill confidence in the exhibiting students.
